Rats typically deliver 21 – 23 days after mating.

I never let my rats mate so I don' know.

Are you going to keep the babies? If so, remember to separate the sexes quickly or you will have even MORE babies! It can get very out of hand very quickly if you aren't careful.

Usually, when rats are pregnant, you can tell simply by the size. My own rat looked like she had swallowed a tennis ball!
