This is basically the story of two sisters vacationing in Italy. The younger sister is murdered, the older is taken by two men. One treats her kindly, under the circumstances, the other is a human monster. The girl is to be trained, to be sold to the highest bidder.
Aimee won't go down without a fight ... and fight she does. But she finds herself attracted somewhat to her captor. Stockholm Syndrome does exist. But is her abductor really who he says he is?
It's a dark read, graphic, violent, and emotional.
Many thanks to the author / Mercy Cortez / Netgalley for the digital copy. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.
