It was a pleasure to revisit 7 Mayfair Square and the plight of Adam Chillworth, the portrait artist. Adam is very much in love with Princess Desiree but considers himself too old for her and continues to resist her ardent advances. But Desiree has a plan------.
Strange book!!! Ok, it has the nice storyline of the fair maiden in London who is in love with the 'friend' and it is an okay read. Doesn't leave you wondering what's next, but it gives you something to do. The strange part is that in between chapters or so, a ghost is narrating the story for you! If you like the London/fair, rich maiden/handmaiden type books, try this one!
I don't read much of steela cameron books but for me this one was a good one.
