I just realized I put the wrong weight in when I printed a prepaid label. Can I just add stamps to the label to make up the difference, or do I have to go to the PO for a postage sticker? I am so trying to avoid that trip. |

It's ok to add your stamps to the label, Bonnie. |

You can ADD stamps for extra postage. The only time you MUST physically hand over the package at a Post Office would be if it is over 13 oz and has ONLY postage stamps affixed! Mixed postage should be fine. Last Edited on: 8/4/08 12:37 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

The only thing I can find is under New 13-ounce Mail Rule here http://www.usps.com/mailpro/2007/septoct/page4.html

I buy APC stamps for $2.23 all the time, and then add stamps to make the postage $2.58 or $2.93 if necessary, and it's never been a problem. |

me, too, sheryl. So far, no problems. I buy Stamps at the APC in units of $2.23, for Media Mail 1 lb. , .35 (for each add'l lb.) and .18 (for PBS Delivery Conf.), then I can wiegh the pkg and slap on the appropriate stickers at home. It's great! |
