Applicants for admission as undergraduates must be at least 16 years of age, and must nave completed the requirements for admission, as here described. These requirements are stated in units, a unit meaning a subject of study pursued through a school year, . with not less than four recitation periods each week. The subjects from which choice may be made, and the number of units which will be accepted in each subject, are as follows: English composition and literature, 3 or 4 units. Mathematics (algebra and geometry), 3 units. Physics, 1 unit. Greek, 2 units. Botany, 1 unit. Latin, 2, 3, or 4 units. Zoology, 1 unit. French, 2, 3, or 4 units. Biology, 1 unit.
