This is unputdownable! I'm not kidding, I dare you to put it down! I did figure out most of what was coming, but it is still soooo good. Really good reading! While most is wrapped up, I NEED to read the follow up!
Whether you're looking for YA, PA, or PA-YA, there are better books to read than this. This is such standard fare that it's substandard; there's nothing original or unique. Even the narrative voice has no distinctive personality. The beginning is a survival story that's something like a diluted version of "The Walking Dead." After that (possible minor SPOILER), there's your familiar warrior-teen mistreated by the untrustworthy government/adults who try to hold her hostage.
