I looked forward to reading this after reading The Ivory Coast, but found it to be very disappointing. Some "sense" of realism would have been beneficial.

A very, very good book. Husband and I both read it and neither one could put it down. Well written, interesting thinking back on Cuba in the 50's. We were there at that time and I could see in my mind many of the places mentioned in the book.
