The truth: author Agatha Christie went missing from home for 11 days in 1926. Evidence left behind caused some to fear the worst. Eventually Mrs. Christie turned up at a health spa where she'd registered under a name similar to that of her husband's mistress.

The fiction: this book, which gives one possible answer to the mystery of how and why the famous mystery author disappeared.
