My minor daughter is raring to have her own PBS account, but I see that you have to be 18 to have an account..  Do any of you have accounts set up for your minor children or do you set up your account differently so they can receive books in their own names?

She wants to have her own bookshelf and her own trades.  I offered to let her trade using my account, but she's at that certain age where independence is all.

Thanks for your feedback!

Put her name in the C/O box in your shipping address. It is for legal reasons that she can't have her own account.

You can set it up so that books ship directly to her, in her name only.  But to set up an account for her is definitely against the rules and could put your account in jeopardy.  Tell her that PBS membership is one of the joys of becoming an adult.  :)
