In the beginning I thought this was going to be really light reading. But as you progress and the characters develop what you get is a lesson on how to be a better person and how to contribute to society in a positive way. Most of the characters are black. The book is written from a black perspective. Inspirational but not in you face.

Very well written story line. The author is a very unique writer. This book is part of a series so it would be good to follow the sequence.
