The second, and last, book in a series about two teenage boys in space. This one is also good Young Adult sci-fi. Adults might enjoy it also, but only if they totally suspend their disbelief about various parts of the book. Needless to say, there are plot holes you can drive a Galactic battle-cruiser through.

Also, the idea that pirates, who make their living killing others, would brain-swipe a 14-year-old boy and let him go, because he was "too young to kill," doesn't make any sense. All you need do is watch old cowboy B-movies to know they would take him along, raise him as their own and then let him loose to become "King of the Bandits."
