Alone in a sea of people, I stand.
Looking toward the horizon I see
Thousands upon thousands of faces,
Though not one is he who can understand me.
My world is small, my heart closed by events
and now, I cannot be sated.
Stand back! I say, let me be!
My misery I will not share.
For if you could see inside,
Enter you would not dare.
My heart grows colder every day,
Broken, shattered and torn.
My mind has lost its will to be
And dreads each coming morn.
I try to stand, but sink deeper each day
Into a world I hate so much.
A world that would deny the one thing I crave
The feel of another's touch.
Alone in a sea of people, I stand.
Not for long though now I fear.
For the time when I fall from the cliff
Is quickly drawing near.

TAKE HEART!!! There is hope... Matthew 11:28 (NIV) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Romans 3 (KJV) 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 10 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
