This is a great book for the student naturalist-- a great resource book! Plenty of ideas on how to encourage studies of nature from your own back yard (as well as in other habitats)and specific, hands on projects anyone can do. Explains everything with simple easy to understand diagrams... I wish I'd had this when my children were younger.
Great introduction to the natural world. Educational and fun for beginning the collection of any natural items such as shells, butterflies, etc, nature watching or just expanding your understanding of the natural world.
