This is an excellent book! A young Amish womqn is pregnant and newly widowed.She is still grieving for her husband, but. she leases out her home and farm in Ohio and goes to live with her younger brother who is married in Pennsylvania. She no sooner gets there but her brother , the bishop and the Bishop's wife try to marry her off to any Amish man who is interested. Believe me a pretty young widow That has a start on a family she gets plenty of interest and even a marriage proposal> What should she do? She is still grieving for her husband. Should she accept a proposal so her baby will have a father? What is God's will?
