One of the easiest to understand books on this subject, clearly shows the connection between the rise of psychiatric diagnoses and the marketing plans of the pharmaceutical industry.

Thoroughly researched, this book will leave you pissed off at the psychiatric industry and their complicity in perpetuating mental illness. Also not spared is the pharmaceutical complex, which is the other major player in the skyrocketing rate of mental illness in this country.
