Angel Maker is #2 in the Detective Lou Boldt Series by Ridley Pearson!Even though this book has an unusual topic, Angel Maker is a fantastic blend of medical thriller and police procedure genres - where I was introduced to Lou Boldt! One of the most believable characters I have come across lately! I couldn't find Ridley Pearson's FIRST book in this series (Undercurrents), but rest assured, after this one, I'm on a quest to find all of his books and listen to them in turn! You'll be amazed at what you'll learn by listening to/or reading this book; for instance - did you know that Band-Aids give off low level radiation - due to being sterilized before packaging? I didn't - now I do! Another thing you'll notice about Pearson - his books seem to travel at a faster pace than do those of, say, Agatha Christi! While I'm comparing apples to oranges, if you like Patricia Cornwell or Iris Johansen (I hate these "if you" - things), you'll feel right at home with Pearson.Angel Maker will leave you hanging on every word, waiting for the climax! Even though you'll know who the bad guy is - you'll keep listening just to see how Boldt figures it out!I think you'll find this audio well worth your credits - especially if you can use it as a stepping stone to get yourself addicted to Pearson's style of writing - and the character of Lou Boldt! I bet you'll even do a search to see if there are any more book in here! Save your time! I've already been there - Ha!Enjoy!!!!
