A very good thriller; unpredictable - it kept you guessing until the very end, and then none of your guesses are right!

It's Halloween morning - and Nancy Kincaid is about to find out that she has disappeared. At her office in a New York City law firm, a secretary challenges her. Excuse me, Miss. What are you doing in here? You're not Nancy Kincaid. Her coworkers shake their heads blankly. Her boss threatens to call the police. Soon she is out on the street, desperate and alone. She has only one clue: a voice whispering in her ear that someone is going to be murdered that night - by eight o'clock, by the Animal Hour.

Nancy Kincaid wakes up, goes to work and finds out she has...disappeared. At work, her assistant asks what she is doing in Nancy Kincaid's office. Her boss threatens to call the cops. She freaks out. The only clue she has is the voice in her head telling her that someone is going to be murdered that night, by eight o'clock, THE ANIMAL HOUR.

This book was awesome. Left me guessing til the end!

Good book, a little choppy in places. A few times it was hard to follow for me, since the scenes jumped from person to person. Overall, I like it, and will read more by this author.

It's Halloween morning-and Nancy Kincaid is about to find out that she has disappeared. Athe Animal Hour: it's the edge of twilight and the height of Halloween...the time when ordinary people are swept into dreams that might be madness.
