This a funny, touching book. The way it is written in the first person is very amusing because it is just the way a woman thinks at times. I really enjoyed this book. It's a laugh out load, feel good book.

This story was unbelievably loving. Not in the serious-sobering kind of way--although the hero did love her QUITE SERIOUSLY--this story was filled with witty barbs and banter. I busted out laughing numerous times.

The characters were absolutely great! The heroine, Naomi, was absolutely inspired and so were her cousins! Royce was simply to die for. Imagine being in-love like that--that everything he did was because of her.

It was hilarious how the roles between men and women were switched between the two! This simply is a MUST READ!

A great story by Gena Showalter. Naomi is just getting over her divorce. Royce hires her to organize a party, but makes it clear that he wants more than that. Naomi doesn't want to get involved with anybody. Royce won't give up. In the background, you have Naomi's wacky cousins, and her parents. Very sweet, romantic story. Funny, with a satisfying ending. I haven't read a Gena Showalter yet that failed to deliver.

This book is very hip and sexy. Gena Showalter has written a great book that is not about paranormal, but regular romance between a guy and a girl. The storyline is fantastic and edge-of-your-seat suspense. The sex is fantastic and makes you wish you were Naomi and you could find your own Royce.

Let me start by saying that I was not sure about this book. I have read other "series" books by Gena Showalter and this was not the same thing. I really liked it. It took me by surprise after page 10. SPOILER.....

This woman is like many women taken advantage by a man and love. She finds her inner tigress. Royce is like the perfect man...You keep thinking he is too good to be true. They are a really sizzling connection....It is not a graphic as some that I have read....But still steamy...

It was a good read. Not a series...But one you can pick up and really not put down...

Brand New Book! Unleashing your inner tigress isn't easy when you are a doormat by nature! Still, after escaping a wretched marriagge to a cheating SOB, Dallas party planner Naomi Delcroix isn't about to let another man swet talk her into sheathing her protective claws. Not even hunky millionaire Royce Powell, who hired to arrange his mother's surprise party. Even if he does make her purr like a kitten with one heated glance... Royce claims he has been in love with her since she threw a party for one of his friends a year ago. But if that is true, why is this incredibly eligible CEO currently taking applications for a wife? Despite herself, Noami is tempted ti fill one out. But can her inner tigress believe a man might change his stripes.
I relly like this author and loved this story.

Fun story by a wonderful author. She reverses the roles in romance. I won't tell you how so as not to ruin the plot, but it is an original story line. Though there is some typical "must overcome past hurts" to deal with. Plot moves nicely. Dialogue witty and true. All in all a great book.

Woman who recently divorced a cheating ex-husband is pursued by a rich man with a reputation of a playboy. She needs his business, but wants to keep the relationship professional. Sweet.

Gena Showalter's non-paranormal contemporaries are very touch and go for me, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I loved the way each chapter was tied together by a brief blurb about the heroine's "inner tigress", and the supporting cast of characters (the psychiatrist stepfather, the crazy cousins, and especially Royce's secretary!) brought me a lot of laughs. This was a fun one-time read full of Gena's quick-witted humor.

I usually read her paranormals, but as romances go this one is pretty good. It has a lot of funny parts, I couldn't wait to see what Naomi and her cousins would come up with next. I would recommend this as a good book to read. Who could imagine having your own inner tigress?

I normaly don't like "romance" novels, but I really enjoyed this one. Sure some parts were hot and steamy, but the storyline was also really good. If you are hesitant about romance novels, but enjoy a good "Chic Lit" storyline, pick up this book.

I absolutely love this book. It had everything I love in a romance book. The characters were memorable, I just wish the main characters had a little bit more in depth back story.

Royce, the main character, was my all time favorite. He was a successful, romantic, eligible bachelor who fell in love with Naomie the moment he saw her at a party and pursued her even after six months of her saying no.

My favorite part of the book was the ending. This is one of the few books who actually got the ending right. Most authors rush the ending and leave us readers in limbo, but Gena Showalter is a genius and defiantly got this right from theme, sex scenes, memorable characters, ending and so much more.

I enjoy the book over Valentines, and found it a cute standalone contemporary romance. Although after a while I was rather equally frustrated with Namoi as I'm sure Royce was. I found some of the communication and dialog rather humorous, and some of the scenarios rather outrageous. I found some what much of Namoi was going through rather relatable for most ladies. I always love a happy ending and this book had just that.
