The other day I posted my rant about how I was really let down by receiving an unpostable copy of Here Be Dragons, a book I really, really, REALLY wanted. Although the sender communicated with me and I'll be getting my credit back, of course I was really bummed.

Today I came home from work and bring the mail in and there is a box from Amazon. First thing I did was say to my husband "Are you nuts ordering a book from Amazon when I'm busy ordering them from PBS?" (he's not allowed to have a TBR pile, only me - just kidding). He protests that he didn't order anything and opens the package... a brand new copy of HERE BE DRAGONS is in the box and it was sent to me from Anne D!!!

What a book angel Anne is. I can't thank her enough for making my day and just giving me such a surprise. Now I can take it off my WL and not wonder if and when it will become available. Anne, you're just the sweetest person to think of me so kindly and genorously. Thanks soooooo much. I'm so happy :-)

There should be a contest for PBS member of the month where we could submit member names when people go way above the norm for other members. As they'd be unsolicited, the person with the most testimonials would win!
