This book has many stories from real people chronicling their experiences with their parents, to whom it seemed that they did , indeed, live in "outer space" or another country. It was a New York Times bestseller in 1999 and was directed to baby boomers who needed help trying to figure out their parents - how to help them, how to deal with them, or how to talk to them.
