Haha! I'd love to discuss and compare. I don't collect a lot due to space constraints, but I read loads of series. I'm currently following Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Electric Town Bookstore, Bride Story, Watashi ga Motete Dousunda, Hajiotsu, Eh? Heibon Desu yo?, Horimiya, Hibi Chouchou, and the QuinRose series.

I've fallen off the wagon on Are you Alice? and Pandora Hearts due to the sheer number of chapters I have to catch up on.

I enjoy some 4-koma comedy, slice of life, mysteries, Alice in Wonderland or fairy tail tropes, some reverse harems, and shoujo.

For graphic novels, I read Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, Ultimates, and a whole bunch of other Marvel series. I really loved Captain Britain and MI13 even though it was so short.

I started to collect them... but they came out with new editions so I feel like I have to collect them all again. CCS and Sailor Moon. I'm so glad I have the Kaito Saint Tail set because it looks like it went out of print.

Sad to say I'm a manga/anime fan as well...here on PBS I collect as much manga's as members are willing to part with as p/o deals (3/2, 2/1, 3/1 etc). I do the same for Anime on the SwapaDVD site.

I try to collect complete sets of both that I pass on to youth groups here in my little town. Sometimes when I do a deal for a lot of manga's I'll get one or two from a (to me) unknown series and search out the anime version to determine if it's 'worthy' to collect the complete series. There are SO MANY! - Manga's turned to Anime and Anime turned to Manga's - it's a madhouse. Thank god!

If you ever have manga's collecting 'dust' on your bookshelves that you are interested in finding a 'new home' for, drop me a PM - I'm always interested in acquiring more manga's (as well as Anime).

@ladyyuki

Ah, those are some super long series you have listed out there! I only have four shelves dedicated to manga in my library. The rest are beloved book series.

Yeah, I'd assume the spin-off manga would come out. I like his eyebrows. After all, even Soul Eater has that Soul Eater Not! and .Hack has the spin off published overseas too.

I like mysteries like Kindaichi and Psychic Detective Yakumo.

I wish I had the space to do such collecting, but I only reserve that to books. Haha! I re-read Kaitou Saint Tail from time to time and I still remember the anime. I wish Hime-chan no Ribbon had been licensed over too. There's a whole bunch of old mahou shoujo that I wish I could read as printed material in english.

@alameda
Got it! Haha, replied to your x-posted pm. :D

Hello all! I have been in the 'fandom' life for a little over 12 years now. I have many series and I used to have more but when I was in my senior year I decided to be an adult and get of more then half of my collection. I regret it greatly and am now trying to re get everything I got rid of as well as add more new series all the time. I've found over the years that if you're looking for cheap manga that you should try looking at your local half price books. Sometime you can find some rare ones, like the original Sailor Moon pocket book editions for as cheap as 1 dollar!

I have started helping facebook friends expand their collections as well, we exchange wish lists and if I see a book on it I'll pick it up and ship it to them and they do the same for me.

So if any one ever wants to trade anime or manga please feel free to send me a PM I have much more laying around that I no longer want that I have yet to post bc I dont want to get a billon different requests at once and would prefer to save on shipping as well as keep series together.

I collect primarily YAOI and my goal is to get a copy of every yaoi ever published eventually, including ones that weren't translated into English (although my focus is the English ones right now) as I'm trying to learn Japanese so I can read the other ones.  I get a little addicted. Currently have just over 1000 manga so far and of course my WL is ever growing as a I see new series or one shots I didn't know about.  So excited that the Finder series is being restocked as well as A Foreign Love Affair (I'm getting them through the DM kickstarter).

My non-Yaoi series are My Cat Loki (so not happy Volume 3 was never done so the series will never be completed), Black Butler, My Little Monster, Gansta and a few others.

A lot of my manga has come from buying whole collections from people off of ebay or live journal, although I have gotten some on PBS (and would love to get more).  Doesn't seem like manga gets posted very often on here.  I keep what I want and then post what I don't collect to PBS or ebay out of the whole collections I buy.

I also collect yaoi/shounen ai anime (of course). Haven't tried the DVD swap site yet, but plan to at some point.

Anybody got a bunch of yaoi they want to swap all together, I will do large swaps to save on postage!  I'm always happy to make multiple orders on any yaoi including comic books that aren't postable on PBS!
