Every time I try to get to Paperback Swap through AOL I get the Sorry, Maintenace Going On message.  This has been going on for about a week?  I can get here by pulling-up Internet Explorer, but what a pain.

Also, since the pages changed here I don't have any of the areas to visit in PBS on my yellow bar near the top. I have to click on the Help area to see the places I want to go--like this Discussion area.

Clean out your browser history, cache - anything that might hold cookies or history or temp. files. The browser history was hanging up a lot of people when the board was being "fixed" a few days ago. HTH

Barbara,
The PBS server crashed on Monday and they have been working on it since. The issue with AOL described below is from Robert:

Some AOL members (those who use the AOL web browser to browse the internet) will see the old page even if they hard-refresh; this is because AOL uses a proxy server (it stores old pages) and hard-refreshing will not change the page the proxy server shows.  Those members will either need to wait for AOL's proxy server to update, or can simply download firefox or use IE 7 to access PBS.

To Hard Refresh hold down the CTRL key and click F5 on your keyboard anytime you see that "site unavailable" message.

I use AOL and finally figured out that not only did I have to dump everything from AOL but from IE as well, which is my main browser.  I still had to do a hard refresh on every page for awhile, but it finally cleared up.  Good luck.

I use AOL and was having the same problem, but only when i was typing in "paperbackswap.com". I put the www before the PBS.com and it has worked fine.

Thanks everyone.  I did clean out all my history and cache before I posted here.  I'll try a couple of other things that were suggested.  I appreciate the help.
