Hi,

I just re-read three books in this series and they were about three sisters.

I'm wondering if anyone has read the other books in this series and if the characters in this series cross over into the other books.

For example, are all these books about Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton...which would allow some crossover of characters.  Or were these three books in the series unique in that they were three sisters?

There is a scene that I'm positive I remember reading and it's not in these three books.

Thanks,  Melissa

Trice, you are so amazing!  I actually went to Maureen Child's web site and couldn't come up with a list of books in the series!!!!

I'm impressed!

Susanna, numbers 6 8 & 9 are about the three Santini Sisters....and they are SOOOO good!

Maybe I'll try to find number 7 and that will answer my questions.  If you do read number 10, let me know if it mentions the Santini sisters.

Thank you

Melissa

ok, I hunted and found 6 of these titles on my s helf (ok and in the car!) now I 'need' to find the others! I have the ltitlest marine, the oldest living married virgin, colonel daddy, marne under the mistletoe, daddy salute, marooned with a maroon.

in marooned with a marine I skimmed through and somenoe named joanne is i the book near the end cause the girl character is talking to her several times about kids and how she moves around with her husband so I'm assuming one of the books i'm missing has her story...saw her name on several pages and dont' wanna spoil with too many details!

Hi,

Yes, the only three that I have are about the Santini sisters, and believe me, they are sooooo good!  You will enjoy them.  I love reading series books!  I just requested The Daddy Salute, since it is in the middle of the Santini books...I'm hoping it will tell me if there is a crossover of characters!

Thanks,

Melissa

I started reading 'the littlest marine' this morning..it's really a cute read! still near the beginning but this woman grew up moving around because her father was a marine. her sister is marrying a marine who decided not to stay in the marines after 20 yrs and wants his best friend and his fiance's sister to get together. now he's lost in the mall after insisting he didn't need 'directions' because he's a 'pathfinder' who can find his way ouf ot any jungle...obviously she's gonna end up pregnant from the back description/title so reckeon there'll be some action soon if the beach scene in the first few pages is anythign to go by!

yes I think that's the base mentioned but it' snot mentioned much. the woman's sister is about to marry an exmarine and his best man and ohter marines are gonna be in the wedding. I'll doublecheck and make sure it's camp pendleton but think that's the name.

OK,

I received and read the Daddy Salute....so while it was about a marine stationed at Camp Pendleton...it didn't have a crossover of characters...which I guess answers my question!!!

Thank you all again for your help!!!

I guess some are crossing over and some aren't...the one I flipped through had other characters mentioned but the first one only mentioned a few names that 'might' show up in later stories...still nice reads though!
