She's only written one book, Dulcinea, and it doesn't seem to be up here -it's rather uncommon, and never sold well.

I loved it madly when I was twelve (it's rather a young novel) and actually what really got me set into reading, originally. 

I haven't read it for a few years, not to spoil the happy glow I have around it.

So, when I saw the "Hidden Gems" section, it seemed a perfect topic.
