Our local Michael's store offers a homeschool art class. My daughter went to one of those Kid Craft saturdays and I talked to the teacher for a long time. She was pretty neat. She covers all kinds of art: drawing, optical illusions, pen and ink, watercolors, beadings.

Only $10 each session!

Check out your local Michael's to see if they have something.

I'm not sure what all ages. I know elementary grades because my daughter is 5th grade.

I finally "bit the bullet" and signed up for GeeArt online. It's @ $30 for a full year right now or after then end of this month the subscription is @ $70.  I figured in a year's time I could use the 16 lessons and $30 isn't bad to have art "covered."  There are other things I'll probably do, but this gives me a nice fall back. Plus, even though only 1 child gets "tracked" by the software, my younger two can watch the lessons and get a little benefit too.

The information on the sale was posted on a blog by "Sprittlebee". If anyone wants more information, I can try to look it up for you.

Hi Tonya

So the last day of the sale is the 31st of August? Hoping you are sure about that because I want to sign up but have to wait until payday. That would be so great. It looks like a lot of fun.
