I have arthritis so I like to keep informed. About all I learned is that I should take glucosamine and chronroitin to help the body rebuild cartilage and protect my joints. And I could have learned that from reading the back cover. The majority of the book covers the research that went into discovering this. But if you've just discovered you have arthritis, it will be a good guide for what to expect.
This is the revised edition (2004).Easy to read - provides a clear understanding of different types of arthritis as well as the common connection to depression and why SAMe helps both - great way to AVOID arthritis!
This book has some life-changing information in it, although there is a revised edition I'd recommend even more highly. As an arthritis patient, I'm constantly learning ways to live more thoughtfully & this book is a real help with that.
