This is an easy read with only 85 pages, many with black and white pictures. I like the Jeep stuck in the mud and being push by six soldiers. It starts with a discussion of Japan trying to occupy China and the problems with the resistance by the people. In the Philippines it covers the surrender of General Wainwright in 1942 and the return in 1944 of General MacArthur. The last 25 pages cover the resistance in Europe but I feel the book covers the Asian resistance much better than the European resistance.
