This is volume #1 in the Octavian Nothing series. I'm not much for sci-fi type reads but this was rather addicting. I choose it because of the reviews and thought i'd give it a try. Once you read one you will be searching for the others. Octavian is a young boy who at the age of 8 realizes he and his mother are not the same as others. They are numbers, no names. Everything about him is different ..they measure his intake his output know everything about him. He is "nothing" He then discovers he is a college experiment. Pretty engrossing read. I will read book #2.
