Three areas on the Earth's surface defy explanation: the Bermuda Triangle, The Devil's Sea of Japan, and a small region of Cambodia.
Inside these realms, planes have disappeared, ships have vanished, and, in Cambodia, an entire civilization has been lost.
Now, the destructive force behind thesemysteries has been revealed. They invaded before. Ten thousand years ago. When they destroyed Atlantis. And they're back...
Cambodia, 1968, CIA operative Eric Dane leads a squad of commandos deep into enemy-occupied territory. Thier top-0secret mission is interrupted by the discovery of prehistoric ruins-belived to be the ancient lost city of Angkor Kol Ker-and a strange fog that swallows up everything in its path. The mission ends in tragedy. Only Dane has survived. Three decades later, the inexplicable fog reappears, not only in Cambodia, but in the Bermuda Triangle and the Devil's Sea, as well. It is a threat that will engage the world's strongest military forces. A power that will overwhelm our science and technology. A merciless enemy that will lead Eric Dane-and the whole planet-into the final, desperate battle for survival...

I'm a sucker for Atlantis fiction. A bit too much military emphasis and not enough archaeological for my taste.
