Au Gratin Casserole
3 medium potatoes -- sliced
4 ounces Cheddar cheese -- grated
1 pound chicken -- cut into 1-inch pieces
3 1/2 cups water
2 Tablespoons Butter or margarine
chili powder -- if desired
1 package Spring onion dip mix -- if desired.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring water to
a boil, either on stove top or in the microwave.
Pour into ungreased casserole dish. Add the butter or
margarine. When the butter or margarine has nearly
melted, add the sliced potatoes. Add the chicken to
the casserole dish. Mix thoroughly. Place in oven.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until top is browned.
