Readers who enjoy novellas that are interconnected will especially enjoy this book.

If I Loved You Less by Gina Welborn
I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful novella set in the city of Austin, Texas. The main characters, Emmeline and Noah are well-developed, and the engaging story moves along quickly to a satisfying end.

Romantic Refinements by Anita May Draper
The second novella takes place on a ranch outside of Austin, Texas. Marion, a sweet, but unwise young woman, is fooled by outward appearances. Fortunately, God is not fooled by such, and works everything out for the good of his children. I enjoyed this lively story.

One Word from You by Susanne Dietze
All the novellas feature the young women attending or who have attended the Jeanette C. Austen Academy for Young Ladies. This particular story takes place primarily on or near the campus in Austin, Texas. An inspiring novella featuring several interesting characters, it is based on the premise that trusting in God will have a better outcome than in trusting one's own limited perspective.

Alarmingly Charming by Debra E. Marvin
What happens when two eager cowboys have their eyes on the same former wallflower? I love this story. It has humor, romance and introspection. Along with the fun, one character learns to appreciate the person God meant her to be and another learns the freedom of forgiveness. This novella takes place on or near Austin and the "Abbey" campus.
