While I enjoyed the story, this is an aggressively Christian book and I was very put off by being preached at constantly. This constant hammering of the author's fundamentalist Christian view really detracted from a sweet story of redemption. If these are your views too then you will enjoy this book...if they are not, you will most likely be offended by them as I was.
