I usually have no problem reading supernatural/sci-fi/fiction/fantasy/historical romance genre books. This one though was very hard for me to get through. It felt like a chore and the plot was very dry in my opinion. Not a book I would pick up and read again and again.

This bk didn't work that well for me. My fave bk by this author is her debut traditional regency, LORD ST. CLAIRE'S ANGEL. I hope I'm remebering the title correctly because the bk is one of my keepers; The heroine suffers from arthritis and thinks she's plain.
Good mix of romance, mystery, and supernatural.
It is said that werewolves roam the woods around Wolfram Castlebut Elizabeth Stanwycke, newly arrived tutor to the Count's niece, is not a child to be frightened by bedtime stories. Of more pressing concern is her attraction to the mysterious Count.
