I have had 2 Bob trades where I sent the book & they never did. The first guy is no longer registered. The second person never answered my pm's & had their books on hold until I stupidly figured maybe they had a personal thing going & couldn't sent & left a neutral feedback stating that. Next thing I know their books are back off of the hold they'd been on for the last month & I still have not recieved an reply to any of my messages. I reported it to pbs & so far have not heard anything & it's been at least a week. Don't they do anything about that?  It's still marked only as address printed.

One last thing, I got a negative from a guy who once I told him I didn't have that book agreed to another book instead. Once he got it he left a negative. I pm'ed him & he said he forgot about that & trued to have the negative removed. He couldn't but he did post a retraction on my profile page though that doesn't do me any good there to be honest but at least he tried. Isn't there any way to fix things like that?

I know exactly how you are feeling right now.  I am having the same problem with one of my BOB's.  They received theirs on the 6th of Aug. and I am only showing that they have accepted my request.  They have not printed the wrapper yet alone mailed the books (4 book trade)  I contacted  PBS and told them about it, about 8 days ago.  Today I received an email that they are trying to contact this other Bober and have not been sucessful.  This may be why you haven't heard anything from PBS they may not have been successful in contacting the other member.  My email stated that as soon as they heard from them, they would let me know.  However, today when I looked, this person took all their books off their shelf, so I am assuming they are no longer a member and I am just SOL out of my books.  I too am wondering if they do anything about it, but somehow think it may be out of their hands.  Good luck in getting your books.

I have 4 or 5 Bob offers that they have received their books and I haven't, and they go back to November '06!!  I don't know what to do.

I'm just letting them sit there  and occasionally I go in and blow they dust off them so to speak.  They are all books I haven't received yet.

Here is what it says in the Help Center:

What if I never receive my Box-O-Books?

If you have agreed to a Box-O-Books swap and the other Boxer's books don't arrive (or if the swap is not marked mailed by a week after it was accepted), you should contact the other Boxer using the Personal Message button on the swap, to ask if the Box was mailed (or when it might be mailed).

If the other Boxer does not respond to your Personal Message within a week, you should contact us and we will look into the situation.

As for it having been a week, and PBS has not gotten back to you, they did have a major book festival last weekend, and so are probably still backlogged from that. It may take them a while, and my guess is once they get to your item in the to-do-list, they will first have to go over the other persons account record, and then will try to contact them directly, which will make it even longer. No idea if you will get any results, they did send an email to a one that I had problems with, but they never got any response either, and the 'member' never came back :(  It happens, but fortunately, only once ?maybe? twice out of nearly 250, so I don't count it a problem :)  Hope your other person comes back and sends your books and they are just great! Good luck!
