  I buried you deeper last night.

You with your searching mouth,

your skillful hands

playing me like a violin,

forcing me to reach for the notes;

vibrating, pouring out your music.

I found a body with a softer touch,

and warmer ways,

whose loving arms

carried me oh, so gently

into a sweeter melody,

and I buried you deeper last night.
