This was my favorite baby present we received when our son was born. My wife read a lot of books, but I just wasn't interested until someone gave me this book. A great read for new or experienced dads! It's funny AND informative!

I got this book for my daughter as she is having her first baby. I read through a lot of it with my mother-in-law as soon as it arrived and we laughed through so much funny, but true, things. My daughter then read it from cover to cover and really appriciated it. Hopefully it will take her through that first difficult year with enough information to make it a successful year!
A very funny little book, but not an overly serious child care book in my humble opinion. On the bright side, it's also much less frightening than some of the "real" baby care books (got myself very concerned with some of the hypotheticals in the other books of horrors as my husband used to call them). Would make an excellent baby shower basket insert- and does have some helpful safety and emergency info.
any book that explains a baby akin to a clock radio is awesome. nothing is better then tellign my husband, "ooh they have a chapter on programming sleep mode!" it's great to see a baby book that has a good sense of humor. The diagrams are also cute. This would be a really neat shower gift for a good friend.
