Thank heaven there are still some things that we can count on, and Tom Wolfe is one of them. A great romp through the culture of south Florida at the beginning of this century. The author provides wonderfully depicted characters in very believable situations while thumbing his nose at the artsy-fartsy crowd. Fabulous!
It was an ok book but not up to Tom Wolfe's standard.
