Raising children isn't about controlling them. I bought this book to read with my teen so that he could see the other side of how some teens are treated.
This book, in my opinion, is a book for people who are out of control and are fueled by the thought of it. The author didn't do his research. There was a brief note for controlling a bedwetter in Chapter 7 if the author would have done his research he would have known that bed wetting is caused because the child doesn't spend enough time in REM or of course you can take his advice of withholding liquids for 2-3 hours before bedtime and then trying to wake them by placing an amonia soaked cotton ball under their nose. I dont know about you but it's not the kind of control I want. I never finished the book after that chapter I realized the guy was just selling books.
It's a horrible book but if your raising a child who will only follow orders this book is for you. If your raising a free thinker, this is a good gag book.

This book came highly recommended by my step-son counsler. It did not help us much with a bi-polar son but would help with other control problems with children and/or teens. An excellent book!
