This was written at the time of the 1992 presidential campaign, not for any particular candidate, as far as I can tell. There are some aspects that would still resonate today, so possibly they could be given credit for being good predictors, however, it's amazing how long we have been going to hell in a handbasket without actually getting there.

If you are curious about how we got into the current economic crisis (as of Nov 2008) this book is still contains relevant information about what we are facing and how we got into this mess. I definitely recommend it.
