God, this book was awful. The author was trying (unsuccessfully) to write a hip, cooler version of "Charlies' Angels", and she even mentioned it in the book. Three drop-dead gorgeous girls; each with a 'specialty', and a handler they've never met or seen. The result was a wooden, forced dialogue, with no character development, no understandable motivation for the actions of the H/h. Just Ugh. Don't waste your time.

Charity, Justine and Anna work for Liberty Investigations, a pseudo-Charlie's Angels type organization. All the women are gorgeous, and Sam (not Charlie) is the voice calling the shots over the speaker phone.

When Charity is given the assignment of guarding Daniel Williams, the sparks really fly. It is lust at first sight, which Charity fights because Daniel's life is in danger and she won't be as diligent if they are involved. The danger is real (Japanese gang trying to kill Daniel) and the sex is intense. A great start to this series.
