This book is a bit difficult to review, but here it goes.....

I read the first book of this series 13 TO LIFE (gave it 3 1/2 stars)
I read the second book of this series SECRETS AND SHADOWS (also 3 1/2 stars)
That leads us to this book, the third (so far) BARGAINS AND BETRAYALS (4 stars, Ill explain why I gave more at the end)

To give a brief detail on this story and hopefully not to ruin anything.

Were-wolves obviously are involved. But not the Magical ones. Science is to blame here. A nice change of pace and more realistic then some stories, very interesting twist. Girl (Jessica) and Boy (Peitr) meet, fall in love, have troubles. Jessie and Peitr (yes, like Peter) have circumstances in their home life they must over come together. Shes important to his life, in more ways then one.

Yeah, I have read some comparing to Twilight. I will admit in the beginning, I felt that, but things change, and quick in this story. However some cute comments where mentioned about Twilight, not in a vindictive way. Like I said, trying not to give it away. Overall, a nice change of pace, very likeable. It did take me a while to get into it. I like the series, although, I do not love it.

I gave this book 4 stars because of the ending. The first two left you hanging. BIG time!! So it ticked me off, which was why they lost a half of star. This one, you know there is more, but it seems things are going to be ok. So I liked that. Would I recommend, sure, they are fun and different. Why not!
