Barjack wasn't a big man. He was only about five-seven. But he was onery. He didn't take anything from anybody, and nobody could make him back down. When he came to the town of Asininity he hadn't planned on staying long. But that was before he ran into a bit of trouble in the saloon. When the fighting was over and Barjack was the only one still standing, the head of the town council offered him the job of town marshal. Unfortunately, his job made him enemies--like the Bensons. A while back Barjack had rounded up the five Benson brothers for murder and rustling. One brother was hanged, the others sent to prison. And now the surviving brothers were out and coming back to town...
