How many baseball fans do we have?

What's your favorite team(s)?  I love the A's and the Dodgers.

Anyone but the Yankees... :)

No, seriously, I'm in love with the AL Central - in particular Cleveland, but I'll cheer on the Tigers and even the White Sox at times.  (Not against the Tribe, though.)    Having lived in Cincinnati I also cheer for the Reds now and then.  I grew up in NW Indiana, so I have an affinity for the Cubs as well.  There's no park like Wrigley!

My husband is a Yankees fan, but he's frustrated with the big egos and big payroll.  He's been watching more Mets baseball the past year or two, but when the playoffs start he's Mr Yankee fan again.  I just laugh at him.

I am a huge Red Sox fan, so I guess I wouldn't get along with your husband too well!  And vice versa!  Born and raised in Maine it is just bred into your genes I think.  This is a real interesting year for both teams.  I have been around long enough though that I don't count the Yankees out of anything yet.  If we had a 20 game lead with only 10 games left to play, then maybe I'd relax a bit, but not much!   :)

I am a major Angels fan. I watch every game. I used to go to them all the time, but now its hard to get seats that arent nosebleed without paying thru the nose, lol. My mom is an even bigger fan than I am. In fact that is her birthday surprize. Next month, Im taking her to a game and we are sitting in prime seats. Get a waitress to bring your food and even better VIP parking!  Cant wait.

I don't get to go to games.  It's too hard to walk.  But, I'm in front of the TV all season long.  My A's aren't having that good a year.  They broke some team record by using the disabled list 21 times (so far)  The Dodgers are still in it.  They were spiralling out of control last week, but seem to have righted the ship before they fell behind the evil Giants.

After adding 3 more guys to the DL this week, the A's have hung up their cleats.  I don't think a miracle could even give them the wild card.  Now they can concentrate on being a spoiler :)

I'm with Gloria--go Cards!  I've got to get a sports package--they always insist on showing the Diamondbacks out here(or even worse, the Cubs).

Did you Red Sox fans see the game tonight with Big Papi hitting a walk off two run homer?  Way cool.  It has been awhile since he has done that, so it makes it extra exciting!

Yankees visit us starting Friday - hopefully we can return the favor and sweep the series this time!  :)  I have to say though, that the Yankees have certainly played extremely hard to make a come back this season.  I really admire them for that and you should all be proud of them.  And how about A-Rod???

I'm a diehard NY Mets fan--therefore, I have been a happy fan these last two seasons! I would love to see them repeat NL East Division champions again this year and go to the Series. Growing up, I split my affiliation between the Mets and the Orioles because I'm from the Eastern Shore. Now, I'm a Mets fan living in Rangers territory. :-)
