I think this is the worst part of the year when baseball is winding down, there's only about 10 games left, and your favorite team has no chance whatsoever making it to the post season.

The A's had a really good chance way back in May until everyone ended up on disabled list.  I think they used it 25 times.  No Billy Bean magic trades this year.  In fact, his Kendall and Bradley trades seemed downright stupid!

Our only hope is to stay out of last place ... sigh...

Who else has the out of contention blues too?

Sigh, I think we've officially blown it now, poor Cards, it's been a rough, rough year(and now Edmonds and Pujols may both be done for the season to boot).  Here's hoping they're all well--and we find pitching for next year:)  Go Brewers(can't have those Cubs winning the division that'd just be wrong).

Well until tonight the good ole Padres had a chance at least for a wildcard slot.  Am not sure they ruined that tonight but if they didn't they came close.  They win something like 7 straight then lose 2 to Colorado???   I love em but get with it already!

Well, the Dodgers ruined their chances last night.  Of course, they needed a miracle to make it.  At least they'll end up ahead of the Giants (can't ask for anymore than that) Next Year!!!!

Now, to root for teams who can oust those teams I don't like LOL  Go Underdogs!!!

I think our goal is to not let the Cubs win the division--which is why we keep losing to the Brewers(yeah, that's the reason).

It's actually a free for all in the National League this weekend. The Phillies have tied the Mets for first (the Mets are on a serious slide) The Rockies have won 11 games in a row and are within striking distance of both the wild card and first place.  The Cubs & Brewers are still close.

Unfortunately, the Dodgers have no chance to mess any of them up!  Who would have thought the Dodgers and Giants would play the last series of the season and it would mean nothing?

I like to think the Cards helped mess up t he Mets:)  It makes me happy that we remembered how to win, even if we aren't hitting the post season this year.  Oh sure, now we can go on a winning streak. Guess I'll have to start cheering for the Diamondbacks(maybe they'll take out the Cubbies).
