Classic book detailing Russian ballet technique from the perspective of M. Vaganova. It has dozens of lovely illustrations. This is a great reference for dancers, and though the author comes across as rather opinionated, she is fascinating. I found that as I mentioned this to dance friends, they were all quite familiar with this systematic presentation of ballet dance steps.
