A frightening account of someone "marked" for the occult through familial prediction, and her experiences with with spirits, idols, and psychic phenomenon. I actually had to stop reading the book because of the intensity of her involvement with the occult. I felt that I didn't need to know the gritty, insanely grotesque details to understand how the "enemy" can work in the lives of deceived humans. I was brokenhearted for Ms. Michaelsen at how sincere her motives were, how her lack of understanding of the person Jesus and the Bible made her easy prey, and how the "enemy" used her basic knowledge of God to deceive her further. Most of all, I was astounded by her account of how people who were suppose to know the Bible could be involved with the occult as well. She'd met priests who sought mind control methods and meditation-type stuff as though the all-powerful and REAL God of the universe cannot help them sufficiently. It was very disturbing, more so because Ms. Michaelson confirms from her true story account that the spirit world is very much a part of reality, and that there is a spiritual war going on for the souls of man.

The true story of a young woman who, while in search of spiritual truth, became a personal assistant to a psychic surgeon. Then God revealed the true source behind the miraculous healings she witnessed. Lifting the veil of deception, He allowed her to see the evil behind the outward appearance of beauty and holiness. The author reveals how this deadly deception is invading our everyday lives, even our churches.
