Normally, I enjoy Mr. Baldwin-Smith's books. This one, however, not much. He presents 'Anne the Whore,' with Mark, her poor innocent victim. Very biased POV that makes one character in the novel 100% evil and everyone 100% innocent. Very flat, two-dimensional character development. Not a keeper.
