Teresa Hill's books are alway full of angst and all her hero and heroines tend to have alot of baggage. This one is no exception. If you don't like angsty, moody and dark stories, you might want to skip this one.
This is the third in a series set in Baxter, Ohio.
1. Twelve Days
2. The Edge of Heaven ( personal favorite)
3. Bed of Lies
Since I've really liked all the books I've read by her so far - I guess dark and moody is my cup of tea. ;D

The moral of this story is: You can only live on lies for so long, the past will always catch up with you. Dealing with your demons is the only way out...and love can conquer all.
Just one more little lie...that's how Julie Morrison gets herself through the day. And it works. Since running away from a broken home, she's built a nice life for herself based on a foundation of lies. A good career in Memphis and an engagement to a man who loves her mean she'll soon have the stability she's searched for her whole life.
Then Zach McRae brings the past back. Zach always looked out for Julie when they were kids. So even though she says she's happy, he can see right through her. He insists that she face the family she left behind, including the half brother who needs her no more than ever.....
