I did not like the author's writing style. Too difficult to read. Also, I felt that the author did not truly address any real spiritual development. Overall, this book was quite a bore...

Pretty good book. His Spiritual Development, which is the sub-title, is a reflection of his character, not necessarily his Christian Spiritual growth. Good early history of his life.
