There are 2 new surprises: Elizabeth's parents adopt Sam- a 12 year old boy orphan and the kids find out that Mother is expecting a new baby. They board a steamship to travel down the Mississippi River and the food id great and it is entertaining. The ship blows an engine and Dad jumps overboard to save another passengers baby.
